My Makeup Storage

hey dolls

I'm am finally back into blogging again. I will probably post once a week.
Let me know if you have any requests or questions.

Here I will show you how and where I store my makeup.
Let me know if you want to see my makeup collection.

Enjoy! x

These draws were purchased from Target.
I store my brushes on the top
& my acrylic draw for make up
& acrylic lipstick/lipgloss storage

Here is a close up view of the
top of the draws.
The pink mirror is what I use when
I'm applying my makeup.
I believe I purchased it from
Priceline.

I purchased this acrylic 3 door set
from a storage store called
Howards Storage Store.

As you can see here, it can
fit quite a lot of items.
I also like that you can buy
more of these acrylic draws
& store them one on top of another
& they clip in. It's something I
plan to do as my collection is growing.

This is how I store my brushes.
I purchased these pen holders
for $1 each at The Reject Shop.
I store all of my lipsticks
(I don't have a big collection
as I am not a fan of lipsticks,
I like lip glosses more.
I purchased this acrylic lipstick
holder at Priceline.

Thanks for reading dolls.
I hope you found this helpful.
Catch ya later x

Monthly Favorites - September

hey lovelies

It's the end of the month which means
it's time for the monthly favorites

I hope you enjoy :)

Make-up Products
- Beauty Blender
- Rimmel London WOW Mascara
- Maybelline FIT ME foundation
- Maybelline FIT ME blush
- Maybelline highlighter and concealer in one
- Models prefer eye primer

I've been loving the beauty blender this month, I've been using it a lot to apply my foundations and concealer, it applies the product onto my face so flawlessly and blends it in very well.

If you read back on my blog, I did a haul about 2-3 weeks ago
& I purchased the Rimmle London WOW mascara.
I had to put it into my favourites because I've just fallen in love with it.
It gives your lashes such volume and length, which is hard to find in some mascaras - I absolutely LOVE it!

I've fallen back in love with my FIT me foundation by Maybelline.
It is so nice and smooth on the skin and it's very easy to blend, which is something i look for in foundations My face doesn't feel cakey when I wear it which is so important for me - I don't like wearing foundations that feel really thick on your face.

This month I've been obsessed with my Maybelline FIT ME blush, it is so pretty when applied onto the contours of your face - particularly the shallows of your cheeks - I love that the colour is purplish
I think I'll be loving this product even more during summer - I'm not a fan of Pink Blushes that's why I love this one so much, it looks so nice on my skin because i'm very light

I've been loving the Maybelline highlighter & concealer in one
from the day i first purchased it - which was about 2 months ago I believe - I've continued repurchasing it over again. It is so smooth on the face, and it conceals so well.
I sometimes have days where I don't want to wear any foundation or make-up but I still want to cover up some blemishes I used the concealer and it just works wonders & covers amazingly

Finally I've been loving this eye primer by Models Prefer
It so nice and soft on my lids and it just does a great job at keeping my eye shadow last longer and not crease.
I think it's well worth using eye primers and I totally recommend this one.

Hair Products
- nak leave in mosturising spray
- John Freida Frizz Ease - Heat Defeat
- Royal Moroccan Hair Repair Conditioner

Lately I've been going back to my nak leave in mositurising spray.
My hair has been getting pretty tangled lately when I get out of the shower so I spray this
& it untangles my hair so quickly + is softens it really nicely too - & it smells good too

I also purchased the Frizz Ease Head Defeat spray a few months ago & I stopped using it becuase I didn't feel it was working but once I started using it with the nak leave in conditioner & my Royal Moroccan Conditioner I find it started working really well for my hair - it's less damaged

Royal Moroccan Hair Repair Conditionder - AMAZING!
Oh gosh I love this conditioner, it's made my hair so much softer and it's definitely repaired it
since I used a lot of heat on my hair.
I have noticed a change, my hair is much softer and I don't have to wash it as often because it does not get as oily as it used to.

Facial Products
- Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser
- Clean and Clear Advantage Fast Clearing Spot Gel

I am so happy I decided to settle and buy the Simple Moisturiser,
it's absolutely amazing & super smooth
on my skin, I like that it doesn't leave residue & that it isn't too runny or too thick
I most definitely recommend purchasing it

Now I'm not one to usually believe in products that supposedly clear
acne scars or stop pimples from showing BUT the Clean and Clear Spot Gel does just that
I was amazed at how quickly it works and how it clears up pimples from showing and clear up acne scars
This will definitely be a repurchase for me, it's helped clear so many break outs that I've had

Body Products
- Sally Hanson AirBrush Legs
- St Tropez Tan Applicator
- Blueberry & Raspberry Hand & Nail Cream

Now I'm pretty pale, something I don't like, & i'm always trying to find a good
fake tan that isn't orange or too dark on my skin
& I found that this is like a 'foundation' for your body, I use the St Tropez Tan Aplicator to apply it, It works wonders because it applies the tan evenly without streaks.
The AirBrush Legs tan has no orange tint to it, nor does it smell & it comes off in the shower without any streaks or leftover marks

My final favorite of the month is this Hand Cream
I brought it at priceline
I love the smell & texture of the cream
It's so nice and smooth, and it doesn't dry out your skin like
other hand lotions/creams that I have used.

Well lovelies I hope you've enjoyed
my September favorites
I know there were a few items & a lot to read
Until next time, Tashjy xx

Mini Beauty Haul

Hey dolls!!

I went shopping at Priceline the other days
& I thought I'd share what I purchased
A little mini haul :)

First I brought these two simple products

- A kind to eyes make-up remover
- A kind to eyes soothing facial toner
Both cost $3.99
I needed a new eye make-up remover & I wanted to try a toner because I've never used one, since I've been so happy with my other simple products I thought I'd try these from simple too.
As you can see they are small bottles this is because I wanted to see if I liked the items first instead of buying a full size bottle just in case I didn't like the products.

Secondly I brought a foundation
- Revlon Colorstay: Stay Natural Makeup in 02 BUFF
I found this at a great price of $10 at a beauty stand at my local shopping centre
I wanted to try out a new foundation so I decided to buy this one from Revlon I saw this for $10
which is a major bargain in Australia since Revlon products are extremely expensive
the cheapest foundation is $26.

I also brought this 6 piece bun maker
- 1 bun maker
- 1 hair tie
- 4 bobby pins
It cost $9.95
I used to have a bun maker like this, i brought my previous one from Hairhouse Warehouse
but it was much more expensive, I think prices started from $14.00 and up + the quality wasn't good
it fell apart really quickly, so i decided to purchase another one and this was was priced reasonably so i brought it

I brought this Baby Lips from Maybelline
- In colour pink
 It cost $3.99
I heard good things about this products on YouTube land so I thought I'd give it a try.
It is a really nice colour and it is reasonably priced considering how much other drugstore
products in Australia cost.

Finally I brought this brush set
- Real Techniques Brushes
- 5 Piece eye brush set
It cost $40 (very expensive in Australia)
I was in need of some new brushes for applying my eye make-up
I saw these Real Techniques brushes and thought I'd give them a try
since I am pretty happy with the quality and application my Real Techniques face brushes have/give.

Well lovelies thats my haul
I hope you have enjoyed looking through it
make sure you comment & follow my page
+ I'll be posting a September favourites video in the next 2 days
Have a good weekend dolls

Beauty is Brains too..

Helloo everyone,

I haven't been posting in a while because uni has been taking up a lot of time, three more weeks and I'm on summer break :).

I will be writing my September favourites post in a few days, and I've got a lot of new products that I have fallen in love with :).

I did want to share with you something that isn't beauty related, I love reading, and I've come accross a new app for the iPhone/iPad or any kindle.

This is the page on Facebook that you should like
Download the app 'Kindle' which is free, then if you go on Facebook and like the page 'Pixel of Ink' you can get free books every night and morning, they give away 3 free books each morning and evening.

I absolutely love this app because it's so much easier to read, especially because I carry my iPad with me everywhere.

It's a great app and you can't go wrong with getting free books :).

Anyway guys, enjoy your evening
& I'll be posting in the next 2-3 days my September favorite
make sure if you're following me you let others know about my blog, I'd appreciate it :)

Beauty Hall

Hi guys!
This week and last week I did some shopping and I brought some makeup and hair items, so I thought I'd do a hall for you.

Enjoy!!

I purchased these Rimmel London Producs from Priceline (my fav store)
They had a gift with purchase deal - if you spend $20 you get a free gift.
I purchased the Lime Green Nail Polish - 045 Misty Jade & Bronzer in 025 Sun Glow
I received as a gift -
The eye shadow pallet in 006 Purple Reign
Extra WOW Lash Mascara in 003 Extreme Black
Soft Kohl Eye Liner in 061 Jet Black
&
Pink Nail Polish - 270 Hot Shot

I was in need of some new brushes so i purchased
this EchoTools 4 Piece Set.
You receive a -
Finishing Brush
Eye Shadow Brush
Lash and Brow Grooming Brush
Lip/Detailer Brush
& a cotton case which is good for traveling

I brought this Clean & Clear spot control gel.
I watched a video that Blair Fowler (I'll have a link to her channel down below) did on her skin care routine
& she mentioned this gel and that it works good on clearing up blemishes/breakouts so i thought i'd try it.

The Biore pore strips are a repurchase.
I'm a sucker for anything that is for pores because I do have issues with
pores around my nose and these strips are for the nose area.
I happen to think that they do work, i have had results show
so i continue to repurchase them

I was in need of a new moisturiser and cleansing wipes
I thought I'd try the Simple brand
which if you don't know is a UK based brand.
Shirley Beniange spoke highly of the Simple brand
& I thought i'd try it out

I enjoy changing up my hair routine and trying new products
so i decided to try a new dry shampoo by Garnier
and a new hair conditioner which is by
Royal Moroccan - it is a hair repair conditioner

This eye brow pencil by Models Prefer
&
Concealer and Highlighter by Maybelline are repurchases.
I aboslutely love the eye brow pencil because it is a nice light colour, not too dark or too light and it's pretty affordable
The highlighter and concealer is fantastic because it's such a smooth product and it highlights well undeneeth the eyes. I have even used this product on days that i want coverage but don't want to wear foundation and it has worked great!
Finally this elite little compact mirror is really good because it's a decent size
so it can be used when traveling or everyday in your handbag because it's not too big.

I hope you enjoyed my hall

let me know if you've
tried any of the products above
and what you think of them

All of these items were purchased at Priceline.

D.I.Y - Coffee and Cocoa Facial Mask

Coffee and Cocoa are a good combination together as they decrease puffiness in the face and the eye erea, they brightn skin and wake up a dull complection.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp finely ground coffee beans (you can use instant coffee or grind your own)
  • 4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 8 tbsp dairy product, this can be whole milk, yogurt or coconut milk. Use less dairy if you like a thicker paste. You can substitute the dairy if you like, you can use egg or any oil. If you do use oil make sure you halve the amount used otherwise the mixture will be too runny
  • 2 tbsp honey (if you have dry skin) or lemon juice (if you have oily skin)

Preparation:

  1. Mix coffee and cocoa powder in a bowl
  2. Add dairy product and stir until smooth. If you like thicker paste use less dairy
  3. Stir in the honey
  4. And you're done

Application

  1. Apply the mask to a clean face and neck
  2. Let the mask dry
  3. To remove the mask wet a washcloth and press it to your face so it loosens the mask, then rins with warm water
  4. If you have sensitive skin avoid scrubbing the mask on your face because the coffee beans could scratch your skin and irritate it
  5. You can store the leftover paste in the refrigerator for several days
I hope you enjoyed this D.I.Y
Let me know in the comments if
You've tried it and how you went

Fav Bronzers - Summer

Rimmel London - Natural Bronzer in Sun Glow 025
This is a great bronzer for summer, it gives me a great natural glow. It doesn't look shiny on me, it looks natural because it's a matte.

Lancome - Star Bronzer in Sun Kissed
I like this bronzer because it isn't too dark & it doesn't look orange.
It gives me a radiant glow and blends effortlessly.

Mac - Bronzing Powder in Golden
This is my all time favourite bronzer, it gives a very natural look.
It does not have an orange look to it and it has a little shimmer
I have repurchased this bronzer over and over, it lasts a long time too

Clinique True Bronze Pressed Powder - 02 Sunkissed
This ia a good bronzer for those who have medium to dark skin.
I love to use this during summer when i have a nice tan because it
compliments my skin, it has some shimmer in it

Thanks for reading guys
I hope you're having a good day
